ALTR Church was born out of a simple desire: we want to build more than a church people attend. We want to build a place where people genuinely encounter God.
Throughout Scripture, the altar was a place where people met with God—a place of surrender, worship, sacrifice, repentance, and transformation. People encountered the presence of God, and they didn't leave the same.
That's our prayer for ALTR.
We are building a church where Jesus is at the center, the Word of God is our foundation, the Holy Spirit is welcomed, genuine relationships are formed, and people are continually becoming more like Jesus.
Our heart is to see people know God deeply, find real community, grow as disciples, and live out their faith in every area of life.
More than anything, we want ALTR to be a place where people encounter Jesus and leave transformed.

Our Story
Jessica and I have spent much of our lives serving the local church, and our family has learned over the years that following Jesus often means being willing to go wherever He leads.
In 2018, we moved our family to Texas to plant a church God had placed on our hearts.
Over the next several years, we poured our lives into that community, built an incredible church family, and watched God do more than we could have imagined.
When God began leading our family into a new season, the church successfully merged with another ministry and continues moving forward today.
In 2023, I began to sense that God was calling our family back to California. It wasn't something we were looking for. For nearly two years, we prayed and wrestled with what we felt God was saying. My prayer became simple:“Lord, either change my heart or open the door.” Eventually, He opened the door.
We moved our family to Orange County, trusting God's leading even though we didn't know exactly what the next chapter would hold. Through that transition, God continued to clarify what He was calling us to build and why He had brought our family back to California.
That assignment became ALTR Church.
Today, we're planting ALTR alongside our four kids, believing God has called our family to help build a church in Orange County where people genuinely encounter Jesus, find real community, become disciples, and live transformed lives.
We love the local church. We love people. And after everything God has done to bring our family to this moment, we're incredibly expectant for what's ahead.
